Biker Chick

When I was 8 years old, I would never in my wildest dreams have agreed to trying this...

Or this...

And most definitely not this...

I was shy. I did not like to try new things. I was not good at sports, probably because I was afraid to try.
Tyler is not afraid of anything. She loves to try new things. She wants to do it all; soccer, softball, dance, gymnastics, you name it and she wants to do it. She learned to ride her bike when she was 4 and when it came to trying the dirt bike, she was ready to go. She is a long way from riding hard trails with the boys, but she will get out there and try. I love having a girl who is brave and fearless!

Now the question is will Hannah try it when the time comes?
She says,... maybe.

All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten

It's the last week of school!! And the last week of kindergarten.
Hannah has learned so many new things and her vocabulary has grown.

Hannah: Mom, do you know what preoccupied means?

Mom: What does it mean?

Hannah: It means busy.

some time later...
Mom: Hannah, will you come help me set the table?

Hannah: (yells) I can't. I'm preoccupied!

The following week...
Hannah: Mom, I know what robust means.

Mom: What does it mean?

Hannah: It means strong. Or also, when you have to go to the bathroom really badly.
I guess that's one way of interpreting it.
